Vladimir Lenin decrimialised homosexuality in the governmental sense. Moreover, Lenin was gay friendly and passed laws legalizing homosexuality. Lenin was a feminist in the modern sense, as in honor of women fighting he declared Women's day an official Soviet holiday. Lenin also wrote many speeches on marxists.org about the women workers. The 21st President of the United States, Chester A. Arthur, should have an article here; he had defended a black woman named Lizzie Jennings when she was thrown off a whites-only streetcar (trolley) in NYC and led to the integration of New York streetcars.
Also deserving one is Vin Diesel. http://www.eonline.com/photos/5491/real-life-celebrity-heroes/199136Read more >
