Franklin Delano Roosevelt was the 32nd President of The United States. He was a democrat born in Hayden Park, New Jersey. He later became the mayor of New York and soon the US President. He did as much as he could to make America recover from the Great Depression, and was elected for 4 terms. He was a social liberal. He died in 1945 from polio. He was a good president for the right time, and many of his programs changed the way America would be.
He was the first prolific president since Abraham Lincoln to support black rights. Also, he had made the New Deal, and he had also appointed his first female cabinet member Frances Perkins. Along with Churchill and Comrade Stalin, Roosevelt brought the Nazi Empire to an end during World War II
